Bigg Boss 20: Uditi Singh reveals her parents didn't support her relationship with Karan Wahi; says, 'We had 10 years age gap and they didn't want me to date an actor'
Bigg Boss 20 contestant Uditi Singh recently opened up about her past relationship with actor Karan Wahi during a conversation with fellow contestants Gullu and Aman Gandhi. She recalled how she first came to Mumbai to meet her then-boyfriend and revealed that her parents were not comfortable with their relationship.
Uditi also spoke about meeting actor Ranbir Kapoor through Karan. Recalling the incident, she said, “Firstly I came to meet my ex because he played football with all these actors, Abhishek, Ranbir and all. So I met Ranbir because I used to be a fan. Toh usse mila tha (So I met him). I used to come to Bombay to meet him. But he was so popular, usne story daal di (he put up a story). My mother didn’t like the relationship kyunki das saal ka gap tha (because there was a 10-year age gap), my parents didn’t like ki main actor ko date karun (that I was dating an actor).”
Uditi revealed that she had travelled from London to Mumbai to meet Karan without informing her family. However, Karan’s social media post eventually gave her parents an idea about the relationship. She recalled that her mother was upset after finding out and that her parents did not approve of the relationship, particularly because of the age difference and Karan being an actor.
The revelation also sparked conversations among viewers on social media. One X user shared a clip of Uditi discussing how Karan helped her meet Ranbir and mentioned her mother’s reaction to the relationship. On Reddit, viewers also discussed the 10-year age gap, with some saying such an age difference is not unusual while others speculated about Karan’s dating history.
