Bigg Boss Kannada 13: Kichcha Sudeep slams Yashas and Gagan over offensive remarks, says, "Don't drag communities into your fights"

Newspoint
Bigg Boss Kannada Season 13 has completed 55 days, and the eighth-week weekend episode featuring host Kichcha Sudeep has brought a serious issue inside the house into focus. This time, Sudeep pulled up contestants Yashas and Gagan over the use of an offensive word during their heated argument.

The controversy erupted when Yashas allegedly used the word 'nine' while arguing with Gagan. The term is sometimes used in a derogatory way to mock members of the LGBTQ+ community. Gagan took offence to the remark, leading to another heated exchange between the two contestants.

During the weekend episode, Sudeep showed the housemates a video of the incident and explained why such language should not be used, even during arguments. He then issued a strong warning to both Yashas and Gagan, making it clear that contestants must be mindful of their words.

Yashas clarifies his remarkWhen questioned about the incident, Yashas clarified that he had not intended to insult any particular community or section of society. He claimed that the word was directed specifically at Gagan during their argument and was not meant to hurt anyone else.

However, Sudeep was firm in his response. He advised the two contestants to keep their disagreements personal instead of dragging other people or communities into their fights. He also warned them against using such expressions inside the house.

'Some conversations cannot be telecast': Sudeep's warningSudeep further cautioned the contestants that making offensive remarks about any community could create serious trouble. He explained that the Bigg Boss team and the television channel could protect contestants only to a certain extent. If their comments crossed the limits, they would have to face the consequences.

The host also pointed out that contestants had been using language inside the house that could not be shown to television audiences. He urged them to exercise restraint and strictly warned them not to repeat such remarks.

Modern Mahakavi Manja's exit still a talking pointThis incident has also brought back memories of commoner contestant Modern Mahakavi Manja's stint on the show. Manja had faced criticism for his repeated use of vulgar language and personal remarks targeting fellow contestants, including comments about their character and families.

His conduct was reportedly considered a violation of the house rules, and he was sent out of the show midway through the season.

With similar concerns emerging once again, Sudeep's warning serves as a reminder that contestants cannot use abusive or offensive language under the excuse of arguments and conflicts.

Will contestants be more careful with their words? Bigg Boss Kannada 13 has witnessed its share of arguments, clashes and controversies. However, the repeated use of objectionable language has now become a talking point. Sudeep's strong message makes it clear that disagreements are part of the game, but targeting communities or using derogatory expressions will not be taken lightly.
