The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the firing incident involving actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday evening. In a social media post, individuals claiming to represent the group alleged that they had warned the actor earlier but proceeded with the attack after he failed to heed their warning. The post also threatened people in the Mumbai film industry who work closely with Bollywood actor Salman Khan.

Anil Pandit, who identified himself as a representative of the group, shared a statement alongside Harman Sandhu claiming responsibility for the incident.

The statement read, “Jai Mahakal… Jai Shri Ram…Greetings to all the brothers. We, Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu, take responsibility for what happened in the Tiger Shroff incident today. We had called and warned him, but he did not understand. Therefore, today we made him understand in a stronger way.

Anyone in the Mumbai film industry who does not listen to us or works with Salman Khan will be next. Wait and watch. (sic)”

The post also contained a warning against other groups allegedly attempting to use the Bishnoi gang’s name to gain publicity. It stated, “Note: Those from other groups who think they can gain fame by using our name will soon be killed, and we will make them famous that way.”

Bishnoi Gang Issues Threat to Salman Khan

In an audio recording shared by the Mumbai Crime Branch, Anil Pandit allegedly addressed Salman Khan directly and demanded that the actor apologise to Lawrence Bishnoi and the Bishnoi community.

“Listen to me carefully Salman Khan. If you don’t apologize to my elder brother, Lawrence Bishnoi, or to the Bishnoi community, then we won’t even leave a dog in your house. We will destroy your entire family. Keep this in mind. Don’t think that you are in security and nothing will happen to you,” he said.

The message contained threats against Salman Khan and his family, with the speaker warning that security arrangements would not necessarily protect the actor.

Devendra Fadnavis Directs Police to Take Action

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has instructed the Police Commissioner to investigate the firing incident immediately and take strict action against those responsible.

The development comes amid previous security concerns involving Salman Khan. On April 14, 2024, two men on a motorcycle opened fire outside the actor’s residence at Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra area.

The latest incident has once again brought attention to security concerns surrounding prominent figures in the Hindi film industry, as police investigate the firing involving Tiger Shroff and the threats reportedly issued in its aftermath.
