Divorce: Popular Kannada television actress Aishwarya Pisse ends seven-year marriage
Bengaluru: Aishwarya Pisse, an actress known for her work in Kannada television and films, has divorced her husband, Hari Vinay. She shared a post on social media confirming the development.
The actress issued a statement explaining her decision to end her marriage with Hari Vinay and shared it on her social media account.
What did the actress say in her post?
In her statement, Aishwarya said she felt it was necessary to clarify the situation to put an end to unnecessary rumours and speculation surrounding her personal life.
She stated that she and her husband had been living separately for the past one-and-a-half years. After considerable thought and mutual understanding, they had obtained a divorce by mutual consent.
Describing it as a personal decision made by both of them, she requested everyone to respect their choice and allow them the privacy and peace they needed during this phase of their lives.
The actress also cautioned against creating false stories, publishing misleading videos, making baseless allegations, using scenes from her television serials out of context or exploiting her personal circumstances to gain views, followers, likes or engagement on social media.
She urged people to understand the difference between an actor's on-screen life and their real life and to stop spreading rumours.
Aishwarya clarified that her statement was intended solely to establish clear boundaries and was not an invitation for further discussions or speculation. She expressed the expectation that everyone would respect her privacy and act responsibly.
"My work is public but my personal life is private," she stated.
She further warned that false and defamatory content would be addressed through appropriate legal channels. If such activities continued, serious legal action would be initiated against those responsible, she added.
