Dumbo octopus: The bizarre deep-sea creature with elephant-like fins that hunts in darkness nearly 7,000 metres down

Newspoint

The Dumbo octopus , which belongs to a group of deep-sea cephalopods in the genus Grimpoteuthis , is named for the large fins on its head-like mantle that resemble the ears of Disney’s Dumbo.
