Govinda threatens legal action against defamatory content
It has been reported that Govinda has issued a public notice warning that those responsible for spreading false claims could face legal action and damages of up to Rs 100 crore. The notice is against the creation and circulation of false, defamatory, malicious or unverified content about the actor and his personal life.
While the actor had not responded at the time of going to press, his manager Shashi Sinha confirmed the move, saying, “Tamasha banake rakh diya hai aur sab mazaa loot rahe hain, including media outlets, industry people and social media. Govinda never wanted the divorce in the first place. Is there any evidence that he wants to remarry?”

Without commenting on allegations involving a third person in the marriage since 2019, he added, “Govindaji aur Sunitaji ki shaadi mein agar koi daraar aayi hai, ya phir kyun aayi hai, that is for them to answer. That is their private matter. He never wanted a divorce in the first place. Sunitaji filed for divorce two years ago and withdrew it only August 19. For two years, Govinda maintained a dignified silence, but this has now become a public spectacle. He has always supported his family. So anyone who shares defamatory, unverified content will face the music.”
