Humari Radha's Simran Kaur talks about her love for Navratri, fond memories of childhood and the garba nights
With Navratri around the corner, the whole nation is getting ready to celebrate this auspicious occasion. From fasting and praying to dancing the night away in colorful costumes, the nine days of Navratri are pure bliss. As the preparations are in full swing, actor Simran Kaur who plays the lead role of Radha in the TV show Humari Radha talks about her love for the festival, the fond memories of her childhood associated with it and the Garba nights that she cherishes the most. Simran reveals what keeps her going during this festival that lasts for nine days. She also shares how she manages to have fun during Garba nights despite being busy with the shootings of her TV show.

Simran Kaur says, "Navratri is very close to my heart. These nine days, the puja, the vrat and everyone coming together with so much love and devotion for Mataji is so beautiful and surreal. I have such great memories of celebrating it at home, especially the ninth day when we would invite kanyas over and feed them, it always felt so special, such a blessing. And then there’s Garba which I just love. With our busy schedules and shows, I always try to make time to play Garba at least once during Navratri because it just doesn’t feel complete without it."
While Navratri is about to bring joy and positivity in people’s lives, Radha’s journey in Humari Radha is at an emotionally challenging crossroad. Radha has left her house with her son on Girdhar’s demands. Radha who is willing to do anything to her marraige is currently going through an emotional dilemma of how her entire world has just came crashing down as Girdhar has openly said that he loves Shanaya and wish to spend rest of his life with her. Will Radha eventually be successful in saving her marriage or will Shanaya’s plan of marrying Girdhar may come true? Watch the show to find out what happens next as Radha goes through this tough phase.
