Ida Ali is officially engaged! Imtiaz Ali’s daughter has taken the next step with her longtime boyfriend Krish Agrawal, and the filmmaker shared a glimpse of the intimate ceremony on Instagram. The couple got engaged in Mumbai on Tuesday, September 22, with Ida seen in a pretty baby pink saree and Krish in a black sherwani. Imtiaz also shared a sweet note asking for blessings for the newly engaged couple.

Imtiaz Ali gave fans a glimpse of the celebration by posting a picture of Ida and Krish exchanging rings. The couple looked happy as they posed together, with Ida completing her look in a baby pink saree Sharing the picture, Imtiaz wrote, “Seeking your blessings, the newly engaged Krish Agrawal and Idaa.” The engagement comes a couple of months after Krish popped the question during a romantic trip to Norway. In July, Ida shared a video from the proposal and also gave a closer look at her diamond ring. Imtiaz had earlier spoken about the proposal and called it “the greatest happiness” for him. He had also revealed that Krish spoke to him before proposing to Ida.

Who Is Krish Agrawal, Ida Ali’s Fiancé?

Krish Agrawal is 24 and works as a quantitative researcher at a hedge fund. He and Ida have been in a relationship for quite some time and reportedly share a love for travelling. Ida, meanwhile, is building a career in filmmaking. She developed an interest in storytelling at an early age and directed her first short film, Lift

, when she was 17. She later studied filmmaking at Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts in California. The couple has not announced their wedding date yet.
