What is the salary?

According to the Income Tax Department, the salary varies by position. Tax Assistant and Stenographer Grade-II posts fall under Salary Level 4, while Multi-Tasking Staff positions fall under Pay Level 1. Consequently, Tax Assistants and Stenographers Grade-II will receive a salary ranging from ₹25,500 to ₹81,100, while Multi-Tasking Staff will receive a salary ranging from ₹18,000 to ₹56,900.
