Viral railway station video wins hearts online
The now-viral video was shared on Instagram by digital creator @indaha.l. In the clip, the woman is seen standing near the gate of a stationary train while handling her camera. During that moment, her dupatta accidentally fell into the gap beside the train platform.

An elderly man nearby quickly noticed what had happened and stopped to help her. He first tried to pull the dupatta out while standing on the platform, but when he could not reach it properly, he carefully stepped down into the gap and managed to retrieve it.

Once he returned the dupatta, the man climbed back onto the platform and quietly walked away. Even when the woman tried to assist him while getting back up, he chose to continue on his own.

“Rahul came at the right time”
Sharing the clip online, the woman compared the moment to Shah Rukh Khan’s popular character from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

“Rahul came at the right time!!” she wrote in the caption.

She also added, “By the way, I thought no one would respect or care, but he helped me so quickly. Thank you so much!”

The caption quickly grabbed attention online and added to the emotional response around the viral video.

Internet applauds the elderly man’s gesture
The video has reportedly crossed more than 41 million views and continues to receive thousands of comments from social media users appreciating the elderly man’s behaviour.

One user wrote, “He quietly picked up the shawl for the girl walking ahead and moved on without expecting even a simple ‘thank you’ in return.”

Another commented, “Aww, he was such a gentleman that he didn't even hold her hand to help himself get up.”

A third user said, “He didn't have a secret agenda, he didn't hold her hand, he didn't glance at her in a creepy way, he just saved the day and walked like a hero.”

Another comment read, “I swear, some random Indian uncles are so sweet. Once, I was taking my dog to the vet when all of a sudden, 4–5 street dogs started viciously charging towards us. A random uncle passing by on a motorcycle saw what was happening. He literally stopped his bike in the middle of the road, got off, and chased the dogs away.”
