For Dr Anitha Punyodaya Misra , moving to Uttar Pradesh meant getting used to a new language, a new place and a very different culture from the one she grew up with.
But somewhere along the way, Awadhi won her over.
The South Indian doctor , who is originally from Mangaluru and now lives and works in Gonda, recently shared a video talking about her fondness for the local language. And the reason is rather sweet - she loves hearing her patients speak Awadhi.
