Khatron Ke Khiladi 15: Farrhana Bhatt gets mobbed by fans in Hyderabad, team says 'safety, dignity and comfort' should be priority
Farrhana Bhatt was in Hyderabad on Friday, October 2, ahead of the Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 finale, when she was surrounded by a large crowd at an event. The situation became difficult to manage as fans gathered around her, with pushing and jostling also taking place.
Following the incident, her talent management company, Young Filmistan, issued a statement, which Farrhana later reshared on social media.
“Seeing anyone feeling uncomfortable or unsafe in such a situation is concerning,” the statement said.
It further said, “The situation at the venue became extremely crowded and difficult to manage, which unfortunately resulted in pushing and jostling among people in the crowd, including women.”
The statement further acknowledged that fans can get carried away when they meet an artist they admire. It added, “We understand when there is immense excitement around an artist, emotions can run high. However, the safety, dignity and comfort of everyone attending an event should always remain the priority.”
They asked people to avoid circulating the footage as it could invite “unnecessary negativity or personal attacks.” The statement ended with a request for better planning at future public appearances, particularly when large crowds are expected.
“We sincerely hope that future public appearances involving large crowds are planned with adequate crowd control, security and entry/exit arrangements so that artists, visitors and especially women can enjoy such events safely and comfortably,” the team said.
The Hyderabad appearance came just before Farrhana’s finale appearance on Khatron Ke Khiladi 15. Hosted by Rohit Shetty , the stunt-based reality show is set to conclude with its finale airing on October 3 and 4.
Farrhana has made it to the final stage of the competition, where she is set to go head-to-head with Avinash Mishra. Ahead of the finale, she also became emotional while looking back at her journey on the show. She had admitted that she never expected to make it to the Top 5, making her journey to the finale a particularly significant one.
