Kim Kardashian andKanye West put their differences aside to support their daughter North West during her first solo concert in Chicago. However, the former couple appeared to keep their distance throughout the event, watching the 13 year old perform from separate sections of the venue.
The concert took place at The Vic Theatre on Saturday, where North performed in front of a sold out crowd. According to a video shared on TikTok, Kanye watched his daughter’s performance from one balcony alongside members of his team. The rapper appeared focused on North as he recorded parts of her set on his phone.
Kim, meanwhile, watched the concert from another balcony with a group of friends. The Skims founder also shared a glimpse of the large crowd on her Instagram Stories. Her video showed fans standing close together as they waited for North to come on stage. Another clip showed the audience jumping and cheering during the event.

The concert marks an important moment in her growing music career, giving her the opportunity to perform as a solo artist in front of a live audience.
North is already familiar with performing on stage. She has previously joined her father for several performances and has collaborated with him on songs including “Talking” and “Piercing on My Hand.” Earlier in August, the father and daughter performed together at Kanye’s comeback concert at SoFi Stadium, where they received a strong response from the audience.
North’s first solo concert comes after she cancelled a planned headlining tour with rapper Molly Santana. The tour was originally scheduled to begin on August 5 in Texas and continue through August 17 in Canada.

Kim and Kanye have four children together. Along with North, they are parents to Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7. It remains unclear whether the younger children attended North’s concert.
Kim and Kanye were married from 2014 to 2022 before officially going their separate ways. Since their divorce, both have moved on in their personal lives.
Kanye has been in a relationship with Bianca Censori, whom he married in 2022. Kim, meanwhile, has been romantically linked to Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton. The two reportedly went public with their relationship in February after being spotted together in Paris and have since shared several moments together on social media.
