Krithi Shetty plays Deepu in Anil Ravipudi's 'January 12 Vidudala'; first look out on her birthday
Actress Krithi Shetty will be seen in the upcoming Telugu comedy family drama ‘ January 12 Vidudala ’, directed by Anil Ravipudi . On the occasion of her birthday, the makers unveiled her first look from the film starring Venkatesh Daggubati , Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Keerthy Suresh along with her.
Krithi Shetty introduced as Deepu Krithi Shetty is set to play the character Deepu in the Sankranthi 2027 release . The production house took to its X handle to reveal the first-look poster which shows Krithi Shetty in a traditional avatar. She is seen wearing a beautiful purple-and-pink half-saree and posing in front of a historical structure.
Team celebrate Krithi Shetty’s birthday on the setsThe makers also celebrated her birthday on the sets of the film. In the pictures Keerthy Shetty can be seen cutting a cake with her team members. The cast along with the director can be seen surrounding and clapping.
Sharing the pictures they wrote, “A special day on the sets of #January12Vidudala. The team came together to celebrate the birthday of DEEPU, @IamKrithiShetty, with lots of love, smiles and beautiful moments.”
The makers introduced her first look after previously revealing the looks of Venkatesh and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram.
Venkatesh in ‘January 12 Vidudala’Venkatesh is seen playing Lt. Colonel Venkat Reddy , who is a part of the Indian Army. In his first look poster, he is seen wearing an Indian Army camouflage uniform, sunglasses and a scarf while standing beside a rugged SUV.
Speaking about the film, the team announced the title of the film a few weeks ago in a video featuring the leads. The video began with a tribute to legendary filmmaker EVV Satyanarayana and included a reference to a popular comedy sequence from ‘Appula Appa Rao’.
The film is currently in the shooting stage.
The music is composed by GV Prakash.
The film is scheduled to hit theatres on January 12, 2027.
