  • 90 gm curd (6 tbsp)
  • 50 gm castor sugar or powdered sugar (1/4 cup)
  • 50 ml oil (1/4 cup)
  • 65 gm whole wheat flour (1/2 cup)

  • 1/8 tsp baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 90 ml milk

Step-by-Step Method to Make Cake in Air Fryer

1. Prepare the Wet Mixture

In a mixing bowl, whisk curd and sugar for 1–2 minutes until smooth and creamy. Slowly add oil and continue whisking until the mixture becomes well combined with no separation.

2. Mix the Dry Ingredients

Sift whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, corn flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt directly into the wet mixture. This helps avoid lumps and ensures a smooth batter.

4. Grease and Fill the Moulds

Grease 3 small steel or aluminum bowls (katoris). Divide the batter evenly and lightly tap them on the counter to remove air bubbles. Add chocolate chips if desired.

5. Preheat the Air Fryer

Set your air fryer to 160°C (320°F) and preheat it for 7–8 minutes. This step ensures even baking.

6. Air Fry in Batches

Place only 2 katoris at a time in the air fryer basket. Bake at 160°C for 15–17 minutes.

  • Insert a toothpick in the center
  • If it comes out clean or with slight crumbs, your cake is ready

Let the cakes cool for 5 minutes before removing them from the moulds.

7. Final Batch & Serving

Bake the remaining batter separately. Serve warm with powdered sugar or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.
