Mahhi Vij's Instagram account gets disabled amid Bigg Boss 20 controversy; actress' team yet to respond
Television actress Mahhi Vij, who is currently one of the contestants on Bigg Boss 20, has been making headlines ever since she entered the controversial reality show. Now, the latest development surrounding the actress has taken the buzz outside the reality show as well.
Mahhi’s Instagram account has reportedly been disabled amid her ongoing Bigg Boss stint. Even searching for her account or clicking on any of the IDs and links shared on her previous fan pages leads to a blank page.
For the uninitiated, Mahhi entered the show after years of turning down offers and described her decision as a very personal one.
Since the beginning of the season, Mahhi has found herself at the centre of many conversations. Early in the season, she was criticised for allegedly being bossy, including an argument with Aman Gandhi over luggage and her interactions with housemates while asking them to prepare tea. She has been facing flak from the viewers for using derogatory remarks for her co-contestants like Amrapali Dubey, Love Gill.
Outside the house, Mahhi's equation with longtime friend Nadeem Nadz had also previously been subjected to speculation following her divorce.
Mahhi strongly rejected the rumours and explained that Nadeem has been a close friend and godfather figure in her life for years. She also clarified that her daughter Tara calling him “Abba” was a decision that she and Jay had made together.
During the show, Mahhi recently shared that she does not wish to stay in touch with the housemates like Uditi Singh and others after the show
Mahhi recalled instances when she felt Uditi was imitating her. She remembers telling Uditi jokingly that she would “pat on my back” if the two ended up competing against each other for a month inside the house.
“So many times I have spotted her imitating me. Once I told her, ‘I will pat on my back when we compete one month in the house,’ and the following day I saw her speaking to Scout on the exact thing, to which even Scout said, ‘This is what Mahhi di had said,’” Mahhi says.
The actress also shares her opinion about Uditi during the conversation, saying, “She is quite silly.” Mahhi then makes it clear that she does not intend to carry these house equations into her life outside the show.
“I don’t want to have any touch with them after going out from the house. I have my three-four people, I am okay with that,” she says.
