Meghan Markle spotted in UK for first time since relocation; spends day with Ellen DeGeneres - WATCH
Meghan Markle made her first public appearance in the UK, since relocating to England with her husband, Prince Harry , and their two children. While Harry's first appearance was at a more formal event, Meghan let her hair down and headed to pub to enjoy a low-key day out with fellow Hollywood celeb and longtime friend Ellen DeGeneres .

According to photos obtained by Page Six, Markle was seen at the Three Horseshoes pub near Burford in Oxfordshire on Monday, where she spent time chatting with DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi. The friends and former neighbours were seen "chatting and laughing" at the 18th-century establishment.
Markle kept her look casual for the outing, wearing white trousers with a light blue top. She was seen accompanied by her security, who was also seen holding her bag.
Meghan and Harry relocate to EnglandThis sighting comes just days after Markle moved to England in August. The actress and her family, had previously been based in Montecito, California, where they had lived since 2020. DeGeneres and de Rossi were also neighbours in the area before relocating to the UK in 2024.
Markle and DeGeneres have maintained a friendship for several years. The Duchess was among the guests at DeGeneres and de Rossi’s vow renewal ceremony in 2023.
While Markle has largely remained out of the spotlight in recent weeks, Harry has continued to make public appearances, attending several events.
Meghan and Harry's kids change schoolsMeanwhile, their kids, Archie and Lili have reportedly begun their fall term at their new UK school alongside their classmates. As per PEOPLE, the two Sussex children switched schools, allegedly due to 'security and logistical concerns' regarding their commute.
A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex told PEOPLE at the time, “The decision for the children to move schools was taken following a discussion with the family’s security team about the practicalities of their current arrangements.”
