Nagarjuna's stylist Poorva Jain hints at his Bigg Boss Telugu 10 looks: Fans can see some of his iconic movie looks back, but with a modern twist

Over the seasons, this question has kept the hype around the show alive, and this season, too, the anticipation is sure to reach its peak. To know a bit about what to expect from the King, Nagarjuna, this season, we spoke to none other than his stylist, Poorva Jain .
"This season, just as the fans have been requesting for years, we are planning to bring back some of Nag sir's iconic movie looks, but with a modern twist. Excited by the comments we got for the Shiva look we recreated for the re-release of the movie, we have planned some surprises for the fans. In terms of fabrics, we have planned to bring in more handlooms this time, promoting our own traditional heritage," she said.
Kickstarting this season's fashion game, the superstar was spotted in a dashing black-and-white look. The blazing jacket, the sparkling bracelet and belt buckle – he was at his dapper best.
"For the premiere, I wanted to take Nag sir's look in a direction that felt different from what we had done before, while still keeping it true to his style. The starting point was contrast, not just through black and white, but through different textures and finishes as well. The jacket brings together different tones and finishes of black with the white panel, creating depth and allowing the white to stand out. I carried that contrast through the styling with the black-and-white diamond bracelet as well. The chain, statement button, belt buckle and black Chelsea boots were the finishing details, adding character without taking away from the overall look. The idea was to give the first look of the season a fresh direction while keeping it sharp and true to his style," says the stylist.
Curious to know about the fashionista in the ace actor, we asked Poorva about his fashion choices, and she says he is someone with a distinctive sense of style.
"I would rate Nag sir as someone with a very distinctive sense of style. He knows what works for him and has never really had to chase every trend to look relevant. At the same time, he is open to trying something new, which makes it interesting for me to style him. When I bring a new idea to him, he is always open to hearing the thought behind it and seeing how it comes together. That gives me the space to keep exploring and bring something fresh to each look, while still making sure it feels like him," she added.

She started her career by assisting and was involved in styling female leads across films, ad campaigns and promotional appearances. Not just Nagarjuna, she has been the creative mind behind the stunning looks of Vijay Sethupathi and Taaha Shah. Currently, she is working on Kanchana 4 as the costume designer, handling Pooja Hegde's looks. Not just Nagarjuna's Bigg Boss looks, she has also been working with him across projects such as King 100, Kubera and other events.
Styling an icon like Nagarjuna is never an easy task, and we asked Poorva about the advantages as well as the disadvantages of it.
"The biggest advantage is Nag sir's presence. Once he connects with an idea, he brings his own personality to it and makes it his own. That gives me the freedom to explore and experiment while still keeping the essence of who he is. Since this is my 3rd season styling him for Bigg Boss, the challenge is keeping it fresh season after season. I have to keep finding ways to surprise people and, honestly, surprise myself too, without repeating what we have already done or changing things just for the sake of being different. It's a little creative puzzle every season. Just when I think I've solved it, the next season begins!" she gushes.
Talking about her most favourite look of the star, the stylist says that it is surely the recent Bigg Boss Telugu 10 look.
"Honestly, my most favourite look is usually the most recent one I have worked on, so right now, I would have to say the premiere look of Season 10. As a stylist, every look is made up of things I personally love, whether it is a colour, fabric, silhouette or even one small detail. I bring those elements together to create the final look, so naturally, the newest look becomes my favourite at that point," she concluded.
