Eileen Davidson is recovering after suffering a knee injury in an accident involving a cold plunge. The ‘ The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ’ star revealed on social media that she fractured her patella after slipping while trying to get out of the plunge, leaving her set to undergo surgery and take a break from her regular activities for several weeks.

“I sure won't be making those moves anytime soon! Slipped getting out of a cold plunge and fractured my patella,” Davidson wrote in her Instagram post.

The actor later revealed that surgery would be part of her recovery and thanked the emergency medical responders and hospital staff who helped her following the accident.

“I'm gonna be down for the count for quite a few weeks recovering from surgery. Thanks to the EMTs and the great team at @losrobleshospital,” she added, according to E! News.

Bravo stars and co-stars send recovery wishesDavidson’s injury prompted an outpouring of support from members of the Bravo community and actors she has worked with over the years.

Bravo executive Andy Cohen reacted to her post with, “No! Get well soon” along with a red heart emoji.

Her ‘The Young and the Restless’ co-stars also reached out. Lauralee Bell wrote, “Oh no!! So sorry! Speedy recovery! Heal well and in time knowing you you’ll get your groove back!”

Melissa Claire Egan added, “Nooooooo Sending huge hugs, love you!,” according to E! News.

Eileen Davidson’s reality TV journeyDavidson, 67, was part of ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ for three seasons before announcing her exit from the reality series in 2017.

At the time, she cited her demanding professional schedule and family commitments while explaining her decision to step away from the show.

“At the time, after a lot of careful thought, I've decided because of my crazy schedules at The Young and The Restless, as well as Days of Our Lives, it's best for me and my family if I step away from being a Housewife for now,” she had said in a statement.

Davidson also left the door open for occasional appearances, adding, “But you never know, I might be popping in from time to time just to see what the ladies are up to! Thanks for your love and support guys!!!”
