Rise and Fall 2: Sara Gurpal opens up about abusive past relationship after Gautam Gulati's aggression triggers painful memories
In the recent episode of Rise and Fall 2 , Sara Gurpal opened up about her traumatic past relationship after an intense conversation with Gautam Gulati left her feeling intimidated and triggered painful memories and experiences from her past.
During a conversation between the two, Gautam was talking about not performing in a task, he suddenly climbed onto the table and began thumping it, leaving Sara intimidated by his actions. When other team members heard the loud noise, they came out to check what had happened, Sara climbed onto the table herself and kicked things around with her feet. When questioned about her reaction, Sara revealed that Gautam tried to intimidate her and scare her, and this was her reaction to Gautam’s action. She later revealed that the incident brought back painful memories of an abusive relationship she had experienced in the past.
Speaking about the abusive incident and its emotional effect, Sara said, “I had a very abusive relationship in my past. I have been in a relationship where I was petrified, and when Gautam was talking to me today, I could feel as if that man was talking to me and telling me that if you don’t obey me, I will ruin everything around here. It felt as if he was literally talking to me, and I couldn’t take it. I don’t know where I gathered so much courage, but I gave it back to Gautam. Nobody can ever scare me that way, and I will not be intimidated or scared by anybody.”
Explaining her side Sara said that, when she saw Gautam talk, she literally thought her ex who she had an abusive relationship with was talking and threatening her to destroy everything around her if she wouldn’t listen to him.
By speaking about her trauma, Sara also made it clear that it has taken a lot of time for her to get out of such a situation and that she does not want to be intimidated or controlled by anyone again.
She later went to Gautam Gulati and confronted him she said, “you tried to scare me and don’t ever do this. What you did again because you do not scare me and nobody ever will. You were trying to intimidate me by your actions, and I will not be intimidated by you.”
All the contestants in the basement were seen backing Sara and slamming Gautam Gulati for his actions.
