The wait for the 24th installment is over! Find out which farmers will have ₹2,000 transferred into their accounts this week..

Newspoint

The 24th installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme will be released on October 30. Eligible farmers will receive ₹2,000 directly into their bank accounts. The Ministry of Agriculture had previously announced October 23 as the date for the disbursement. Farmers awaiting this payment should verify their details before the installment is released.

The release of the installment on this date does not guarantee that every registered farmer will receive the payment. Incomplete e-KYC or incorrect records may lead to delays. Issues such as a lack of Aadhaar linkage or problems with land verification can also affect the disbursement. Farmers are advised to address these issues in advance rather than waiting until the last minute.

Completing the e-KYC is a mandatory requirement under this scheme, as it helps verify the identity of registered farmers. Farmers should also ensure that their bank account is linked to their Aadhaar. Furthermore, their land records must be verified, and their personal information must be accurate.

How to check your eligibility:

Farmers can verify their payment details through the official PM-Kisan website. Visit pmkisan.gov.in on your mobile phone or computer, select the ‘Know Your Status’ option, and enter your registration number. Next, enter the captcha code displayed on the screen and select ‘Get OTP’. Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number to proceed.

The subsequent screen will display your information and beneficiary status. Check whether your e-KYC is complete and ensure there are no errors. If any steps remain, follow the provided instructions. If you need assistance in correcting your records, please contact the relevant service centre.

How to complete e-KYC

Farmers have three options to complete e-KYC: OTP, fingerprint, or face authentication. For the OTP-based method, it is mandatory to have an active mobile number linked to your Aadhaar. Farmers can use this option via the PM-KISAN website or the mobile app.

For verification on the website, select ‘e-KYC’ and enter your Aadhaar number. Next, enter the OTP received on the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar. Follow the remaining instructions carefully to complete the process. Afterward, check your status again to ensure that the verification has been successful.

Farmers can also visit a ‘Common Service Centre’ for fingerprint-based verification. For those who require further assistance, the ‘State Service Centre’ option is also available. This can be helpful for farmers who find it difficult to use the online method.

Verification can also be completed via a mobile phone using face authentication. Download the ‘PM-KISAN’ app and the ‘Aadhaar Face RD’ app from the Google Play Store. Log in to the PM-KISAN app using the mobile number registered with the scheme. Open the ‘Beneficiary Status’ section and check your e-KYC status. If it shows “No,” select the e-KYC option and follow the instructions to scan your face.

Farmers should complete any pending verifications and have their necessary documents ready before October 30th. Maintaining accurate records helps avoid payment-related issues and eliminates the need for unnecessary visits to service centres. Finally, check your bank account.
