'Toxic' Hindi version passed with 'A' certificate after CBFC directs cuts on abusive dialogue to child muted and trimming of drug scene

Yash’s much-awaited ' Toxic : A Fairytale for Grown-Ups' has released today, August 26, but its Hindi version has undergone several changes before receiving certification. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) completed the certification process for the Hindi-dubbed version on August 25, just a day before its theatrical release.

The Hindi version has been passed with an ‘A’ certificate after the makers made changes to certain dialogues, a drug-use sequence and the statutory warning. The development comes as the Geetu Mohandas directorial continues to generate strong pre-release interest, with advance bookings showing considerable momentum.
