Tu Juliet Jatt Di actor Pavneet Singh: Mumbai takes time, but that is what makes an actor stronger
At 19, Pavneet Singh left Punjab for Mumbai with a dream of becoming an actor. Nearly seven years of auditions, background work and rejection followed before an opportunity associated with Sargun Mehta eventually led him to Tu Juliet Jatt Di , marking his acting debut.
He says, “In 2026, I auditioned for a show associated with Sargun Mehta. I wasn’t selected for the initial project, but my young and innocent look eventually worked in my favour. What initially appeared to be a rejection turned into an unexpected opportunity. I was later called to audition for Tu Juliet Jatt Di and was selected. I am deeply grateful to Sargun Mehta ma’am and Ravi Dubey sir for giving me my first opportunity to prove myself as an actor.”
