One of the most auspicious days is Kaal Bhairav Jayanti, which is celebrated with immense happiness and fervor to honor of Kaal Bhairav. The Hindu festival of Kalabhairav Jayanti, also called Mahakaal Bhairavashtami or Kala Bhairav Ashtami, honors Lord Kaal Bhairav, the ferocious manifestation of Lord Shiva. In the Hindu lunar month of Margashirsha, it is celebrated on the ashtami, or eighth day, of the Krishna Paksha, or the moon's waning phase. This date falls between mid-November and mid-December according to the Gregorian calendar.

According to the Hindu Scriptures, the birth anniversary of Lord Kaal Bhairav is celebrated on this sacred day. The day is devotedly observed by all Lord Kaal Bhairav devotees. Kaal Bhairav Jayanti 2025: Puja Rituals
Early in the morning, devotees take a sacred bath. Clean the puja room and the house. Set up an idol of Lord Kaal Bhairav. Prepare halwa, garlands, and sweets - meetha rott or meethe poode. Seek the blessings of Lord Kaal Bhairav by reciting mantras and the Kaal Bhairav Ashtakam. Meetha rott, soojhi ka halwa, and other offerings must be made to Kaal Bhairav in the evening as well. Go to the temple and use four cotton wicks to light a four faced diya and offer it to the lord.
