AIU officials surprise Asiad-bound athletes

Bengaluru: Top Indian athletes preparing for the Asian Games at the national coaching camp in Bhubaneswar received a surprise call reportedly from Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) officials, who knocked on the campers’ doors to collect samples on Sunday.

The AIU team, supported by Indian officials, went to the athletes’ rooms, guided by security staff, and asked for samples from those on their prepared list.
