Asian Games 2026: Himanshu Dhillon wins silver, Rudrankksh Patil bags bronze in 10m air rifle

India's Himasnhu Dhillion and Rudrankksh Patil added an individual silver and bronze, respectively to India’s shooting haul at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Monday, hours after helping the country win silver in the men’s 10m air rifle team event.


Rudrankksh, Himanshu Dhillon and Parth Mane had earlier combined for a silver with a total of 1890.1 points, behind China’s world-record 1899.0. Rudrankksh also topped the Indian qualification standings with 631.8, while Himanshu shot 630.0 to make the individual final as well.


The individual medal gives Rudrankksh another Asian Games podium finish after he was part of India’s gold-medal winning 10m air rifle team at the Hangzhou Games.


India’s shooting campaign in Nagoya has now produced another podium finish after Elavenil Valarivan won individual and team silver in the women’s 10m air rifle competition.
