Asian Games 2026: Himanshu Dhillon Wins Silver, Rudrankksh Patil Takes Bronze in 10m Air Rifle
India's shooting contingent delivered another strong performance on the second day of the Asian Games 2026, with Himanshu Dhillon and Rudrankksh Patil winning silver and bronze respectively in the men's 10m air rifle individual event.
The two shooters had already contributed to India's silver medal in the men's 10m air rifle team event alongside Parth Mane. Their individual podium finishes have now taken India's shooting medal tally to five.
Himanshu Takes Silver, Rudrankksh Wins BronzeHimanshu Dhillon finished second in the men's 10m air rifle individual final with a score of 252.4.
Rudrankksh Patil secured the bronze medal after registering 230.9 points.
China's Sheng Lihao claimed the gold medal with 254.2 points and also set a new Asian Games record in the event.
Another Medal for the Indian TrioEarlier on the same day, Himanshu Dhillon, Rudrankksh Patil and Parth Mane combined to win silver in the men's 10m air rifle team event.
The result gave the Indian shooters another podium finish before Himanshu and Rudrankksh returned for the individual competition.

For Himanshu and Rudrankksh, the individual silver and bronze medals add to an already successful day after their team-event silver earlier in the competition.
