Barcelona finally get Ballon d'Or winner Rodri after third offer as Man City reportedly accept €76.5m deal

Newspoint
Barcelona have reportedly reached an agreement in principle to sign Rodri from Manchester City, with the Spain captain set to return to La Liga after seven trophy-filled seasons in England.

The proposed deal is understood to be worth €76.5 million (about $88.4 million) in total, after Barcelona returned with a third offer for the 30-year-old midfielder. Rodri is set to sign a four-year contract with the La Liga champions. The move would bring one of the world's most accomplished midfielders back to Spain just weeks after he captained the country to the 2026 World Cup and was named the tournament's best player.
