Before Brazil, Panama friendly awaits India

PANAJI: India are moving towards playing an unprecedented four, possibly even five, games against FIFA World Cup 2026 opponents this year, after the All India Football Federation ( AIFF ) signed a letter of intent with 44-ranked Panama for an international friendly at home during the Sept-Oct match window.

The Panama game is scheduled for the weekend of Sept 26-27. The venue is yet to be finalised.
