Coco Gauff became a homeowner at 20 but continued using her parents' Florida mansion for tennis training

Newspoint
Coco Gauff owns a home in Delray Beach , Florida, and still trains at her parents’ house. She bought her first place in 2024, at 20, then kept using the tennis court at the family property a few minutes away. Gauff shared the news in two Instagram Stories late that year and has shown very little of the house since. Her own house has no public price, size or street address. The two-time Grand Slam champion has been clear about which address her practice sessions belong to, and it is not her own.

What do we know about Coco Gauff’s Delray Beach house?Coco Gauff bought the house in 2024, when she was 20. It sits in Delray Beach, the Florida city her family moved back to when she was 7 so she could train.

The news came late that year, after she returned from the Asian leg of the tour. Gauff posted two Instagram Stories saying she had closed on a house a few months earlier. She showed one room and a short bookshelf, then ruled out a full tour with a line about the internet not needing to know everything. Her message to fans was simple, she was a homeowner at 20.

She has shared a few looks since, including an open-plan living and kitchen area, a room set up for watching movies, and plenty of holiday decorations. The house is custom-built, but no builder or plans have been published. The price, the size and the street address are all private, and no deed or listing has surfaced.

The guessing has not stopped, though. Figures of $1.75 million and $2.5 million circulate online, and neither points to a record of sale. Some pages place the house in a gated Boynton Beach community, but Gauff has described her home as being in Delray Beach. A $15 million waterfront estate has also been pinned on her with nothing behind it. No other property has been confirmed in her name.

Claims about a private tennis court, a home gym and six bedrooms at her address are just as thin. By her own account, the court she uses is somewhere else.

Why does Gauff still train at her parents’ house? Her parents have the court. Corey and Candi Gauff paid $311,000 in 2015 for a Mediterranean-style house in Delray Beach. They renovated and expanded it, then added a tennis court. The property belongs to them, not to their daughter.

Of course, she does not need to take a flight to reach there. Her own house is a few minutes away, in the same neighborhood as the family’s main residence. Gauff has said she is still in the same city as her parents, and the short drive makes the setup easy. When she is home, she goes to their place to practice. "My parents have a court at home, so I practice there still. So it feels somewhat the same," she said (via Realtor).

“I practice at my parents’ house because that’s where the court is,” she told Fortune.

The court is only part of the routine. Her parents often cook lunch on training days, and her grandparents live about 15 minutes away. Her father has been heavily involved in her coaching since she was a child, so the family property was a training base long before she owned a house of her own. "I just felt like this was a time for me to move ou. But I’m still in the same city as my parents," Gauff said.

She did not take the court with her, and she did not stop using it either. Gauff now has two addresses within a short drive of each other, one for living and one for hitting.

For a player who spends most of the year on the road, the arrangement keeps her home weeks simple. She sleeps in her own bed and trains on a court she has known for years.

What has Gauff said about owning her first home ?Her first Christmas in the house gave fans their best look inside. In December 2025, after the season ended and the WTA Finals in Riyadh, Gauff posted photos of her decorations on Instagram. Several trees went up around the house. The main one stood in the living room with twinkling lights, red ribbon, mixed ornaments, a yellow star on top and a red skirt below.

“Put up my first tree being a homeowner lol last year I didn’t decorate,” she wrote.

A second tree went into her bedroom, and it was built around her favorite color. It had a purple cloth base, large silver glass ornaments and a star lit in blue. She added that purple is her favorite, and fans spotted plush decorations, including a gingerbread figure.

Her comments to Fortune were more serious. She called the house her best investment and pointed to its location in her hometown. She said she could see herself living there for the rest of her life. She also described being home in Delray Beach as the way she recharges between tournaments.

What is Gauff’s net worth and how much has she earned?Gauff’s net worth is estimated at $50 million. Her official career prize money is more than $36.7 million, a total that includes the $1.45 million guaranteed for reaching the 2026 US Open semifinals.

Most of that came in recent seasons. She earned nearly $9.4 million on court in 2024, including $4.805 million for winning the WTA Finals, the largest single-event check in women’s tennis history at the time. The 2025 season brought almost $8 million and the French Open title. Through the first eight months of 2026, she had added more than $5.5 million.

Endorsements have often outpaced prize money. Her estimated pretax earnings were about $11 million in 2022, more than $20 million in 2023, $34.4 million in 2024 and $33 million in 2025. Over the 12 months to August 2026, she earned an estimated $35.5 million, with about $28 million from off-court deals.

Her sponsors include New Balance, Rolex, Bose, Chase, Mercedes-Benz, UPS, L’Oréal, Head, Fanatics and Baker Tilly. She was the world’s highest-paid female athlete in 2024 and 2025. In 2025, she launched Coco Gauff Enterprises to control more of her own deals and investments.
