Apple may raise iPhone prices as memory costs rise: Report

Newspoint
Apple is reportedly preparing to raise iPhone prices as the cost of memory and other components continues to rise. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, writing in his Power On newsletter, says an iPhone price increase now appears likely, with the main question being how much Apple will charge for its next models. “Apple prepares iPhone price hikes, following moves by Samsung and Google,” Gurman wrote in the newsletter. “With the same memory and silicon shortages weighing on the iPhone, an increase there remains inevitable,” Gurman added. Samsung and Google have already raised prices on their latest phones by about $100, and Apple is closely watching those moves. If Apple follows them, the price of iPhone 18 Pro could start at around $1,199.
