Former British PM Rishi Sunak cleared for part-time advisory roles at Microsoft, Anthropic, with caveats
A little over a year after leaving office, former UK prime minister Rishi Sunak has taken up advisory roles at Microsoft and Anthropic. The Indian-origin Tory politician will be a part-time senior advisor to the two companies.
The UK’s Advisory Committee on Business Appointments ( Acoba), an independent public body sponsored by the Cabinet Office, has issued guidelines for Sunak to follow to ensure his employers do not get a competitive advantage.
