Grammarly Officially Rebrands as Superhuman: Here’s What Changes for Users

Grammarly, the world’s most popular writing assistant, has officially rebranded as Superhuman, marking the end of its journey under its original name. The change comes after the company’s acquisition of Superhuman Mail earlier this year, signaling a broader transformation in its strategy and vision. Founded in 2009, Grammarly’s shift to the Superhuman brand aims to unite multiple productivity tools under one ecosystem, enhancing the user experience through seamless AI integration.

A Unified Platform for Productivity
The newly formed Superhuman now brings together three major tools — Grammarly, Superhuman Mail, and Coda, a smart work assistant acquired in 2025. Users can now access all these platforms under a single subscription, simplifying workflows and boosting efficiency. The company says the new identity reflects its mission to help users work smarter, not just write better.

Introducing Superhuman Go
One of the major highlights of the rebranding is the introduction of Superhuman Go, an advanced AI assistant that integrates directly with the existing Grammarly browser extension for Chrome and Edge. According to the company, “Superhuman Go is designed to help users streamline their communication and productivity, going beyond grammar corrections.” The assistant can compose professional email replies, gather relevant information, and even schedule meetings — all within the user’s workflow.

Expanding the AI Ecosystem
Superhuman’s rebranding is not merely cosmetic; it represents a shift toward becoming an AI productivity powerhouse. The company plans to integrate more advanced features into Coda and Superhuman Mail, such as transforming meeting discussions into drafts and organising inboxes intelligently based on users’ schedules. The move underscores Superhuman’s goal of offering an all-in-one digital productivity solution, positioning itself as a competitor to platforms like Notion and Google Workspace.

New Plans and Pricing
Superhuman has announced a revised subscription model to reflect its expanded offerings. Existing Grammarly users will automatically transition to Superhuman Go without losing access to their tools.

  • Pro Plan: Priced at $12 per month (around Rs 1,000), billed annually. It includes unlimited paragraph rewrites and translations in 19 languages, a feature Grammarly had rolled out earlier this year.

  • Business Plan: Priced at $33 per month (around Rs 3,000), billed annually. It includes access to Superhuman’s premium email client and extended team collaboration tools.

A Strategic Rebranding for the Future
By consolidating its tools and changing its identity, Superhuman aims to redefine how users perceive AI productivity suites. The company said in its announcement that “the rebranding represents our commitment to helping users do more with less effort — from writing and communication to organisation and collaboration.” The move suggests a future where AI assistants become central to daily professional and creative workflows.

The transformation of Grammarly into Superhuman represents a bold new chapter for one of the most trusted names in digital writing. With AI capabilities extending beyond grammar correction into communication and productivity, Superhuman is setting the stage for a smarter, more connected digital workspace. As AI-driven tools continue to evolve, this rebranding could well mark the beginning of a new era in how we write, communicate, and collaborate online.
