India now crosses 5.08 lakh 5G towers: Govt
New Delhi, Dec 3 (IANS) India’s rollout of next-generation mobile networks has gathered strong momentum, with Telecom Service Providers installing 5.08 lakh 5G Base Transceiver Stations (BTSs) across the country as of October 31, the Parliament was informed on Wednesday.
In a written reply to Lok Sabha, Union Communication Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said this rapid expansion reflects the country’s steady progress in strengthening digital infrastructure.
