JioHotstar is expanding into the Middle East and North Africa ( MENA ). The streaming platform has partnered with STARZPLAY to bring its entertainment catalogue to audiences across the MENA region, marking its latest international expansion after launches in the UK, Canada and Singapore.
Under the partnership, JioHotstar will be available as a dedicated streaming destination within the STARZPLAY app and website. The offering will include JioHotstar Originals alongside their India release, television content from JioStar channels, films and reality franchises. The service will also feature content in multiple Indian languages, including Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Bangla.

JioHotstar MENA plans and pricing
JioHotstar will be available through STARZPLAY's PLUS plan, priced at AED 34.99 per month. This plan provides access to JioHotstar's multilingual entertainment library.
The MAX plan costs AED 49.99 per month and combines the complete JioHotstar entertainment offering with STARZPLAY's sports portfolio. The plan will bring entertainment, films, originals and reality shows together with live sports, including cricket.
Maaz Sheikh, CEO of STARZPLAY, said the partnership aims to combine Indian entertainment with the platform's understanding of MENA audiences.
“The next phase of streaming growth in MENA will be shaped by platforms that bring the right brands together and make the viewing experience more valuable. Audiences should not have to navigate an increasingly fragmented market to find the entertainment that matters to them,” Sheikh said.
