Nothing OS 5.0 arrives on Android 17 with 80+ changes, Phone (3) gets the beta first
Nothing has Nothing OS 5.0 , an Android 17 build carrying more than 80 changes across design, personalisation, performance and its Essential AI tools . The Open Beta starts on Wednesday, 26 August at 3:30 PM IST, and Phone (3) is the only device in the queue on day one.
Everything else follows in stages through to January, and three phones do not follow at all. Phone (1), Phone (2) and CMF Phone 1 have reached the end of major software support, so Nothing OS 5.0 is where their update road ends.
