Reliance Jio launches JioPC launched as standalone service; check plans, prices and how it works

Newspoint

Reliance Jio has launched JioPC as a standalone subscription service, making its cloud-computing offering available to anyone with an internet connection regardless of which telecom or broadband provider they use. The service, previously restricted to JioHome broadband subscribers, is now open to consumers across India who want to extend the life of an aging computer without buying new hardware.

What JioPC actually offers

JioPC brings cloud computing power to a user's existing device, giving them access to up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage without needing to replace the physical computer itself. Jio is positioning the service specifically for computers that are three to four years old and have started slowing down, running low on storage, or falling behind on operating system updates — offering an alternative to buying new hardware or paying for expensive upgrades.
