Sequoia US crossover fund may join Groww's anchor book ahead of IPO
Online investment platform Groww (Billionbrains Garage Ventures Pvt Ltd) has raised Rs 2,984.54 crore from 102 anchor investors, a day ahead of its initial public offering. The company allotted 29.84 crore shares at Rs 100 apiece, according to a regulatory filing.
Domestic mutual funds accounted for nearly 47% of the total anchor book, with 54 schemes from 17 fund houses subscribing to 13.89 crore shares. Among the largest domestic investors were Kotak Flexicap (which invested Rs 149 crore), Nippon India Multicap (Rs 159 crore), Axis Midcap (Rs 97 crore), and Motilal Oswal Multicap (Rs 95 crore).
