WhatsApp New Parental Controls: What Parents Can Monitor on Their Child's Account
Social media is increasingly becoming part of teenagers' daily lives, making parental controls an important tool for parents. WhatsApp has now introduced new parental control features that give parents more control over some aspects of their teenager's account.
The controls allow parents to manage certain privacy and social activity settings. However, they do not give parents access to their child's private chats or calls.
This gives parents a way to maintain the privacy settings they have selected for their child's account.
Notifications can also be sent if a group suddenly experiences a significant increase in members. However, these controls do not allow parents to read private conversations taking place within WhatsApp groups.
These options allow parents to set boundaries around some of their child's social activity on the platform.
This gives parents an additional way to control how much exposure their teenager has to Meta AI.
All these controls are optional. Parents can change or disable them according to their requirements.
