$100 Billion Investment, 10 Lakh Jobs: PM Modi’s Big Remarks After India-Switzerland Talks

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held delegation-level talks with Swiss President Guy Parmelin in New Delhi, with investment, jobs and mobility at the centre of discussions.PM Modi said the India-EFTA trade pact could help bring $100 billion in investment and create 10 lakh direct jobs in India over the next 15 years. India and Switzerland also agreed to deepen cooperation in defence production, military exchanges and nuclear energy.The talks also covered market access, Swiss investment, mobility opportunities for Indian students and professionals, the Ukraine war, West Asia and reforms in global institutions.
