Akhilesh Yadav To Visit Ayodhya Ram Temple For First Time Since Consecration Ahead Of 2027 UP Polls

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and his wife Dimple Yadav are scheduled to visit the Ram Temple and Hanumangarhi in Ayodhya on December 12, former SP MLA Pawan Pandey announced. The proposed visit will be Akhilesh's first to the Ram Temple since its inauguration in January 2024. Pandey said the couple would visit with their family, meet saints and seek their blessings. The announcement comes ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, amid political exchanges between the BJP and SP over Ayodhya. Akhilesh had earlier said he would visit after the completion of Kedareshwar Dham in Etawah, being built by the Samajwadi Party.
