Another Sexual Assault Case from Bihar: 4 Arrested In Samastipur After Video Surfaces Online

Four people have been arrested in connection with an alleged sexual assault case in Samastipur after a video of the incident surfaced online. Police said they took suo motu cognisance after the survivor could not be identified or traced. An FIR has been registered under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, POCSO Act and Information Technology Act. The incident has also triggered political reactions, while a similar case had earlier been reported from Jamui.
