Army Armoury Breach: Retired Havaldar Stole AK-203 Rifles, INSAS Guns & Thousands Of Rounds | Watch

A shocking security breach has been reported at the 20 Madras Regiment armoury in Bolarum, Telangana. A retired Army Havaldar, identified as 37-year-old Upputholla Mallesh alias Raju, allegedly stole AK-203 and INSAS rifles, pistols, night-vision equipment and thousands of ammunition rounds. Investigators suspect an insider role and say the weapons were transported across districts towards Nagar Kurnool. Telangana Police analysed around 8.5 lakh mobile numbers and questioned personnel with armoury access. A multi-agency probe involving Telangana Police, Task Force, SOT and Military Intelligence led to recovery of the stolen cache.
