Chirag Paswan Files Complaint Against Swatantra Bhardwaj, Demands Action Over Alleged Name Misuse

Union Minister Chirag Paswan and his Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) have distanced themselves from Hindutva influencer Swatantra Bhardwaj and filed a complaint accusing him of falsely using Paswan’s name. The controversy stems from Bhardwaj’s alleged claims about assaulting the father of a student activist during a CJP protest in July. Paswan demanded strict action and an impartial investigation, while assuring support to the victim’s family. Meanwhile, Delhi Police detained Bhardwaj in Uttar Pradesh after CJP protesters demanded his arrest. Political leaders including Chandrashekhar Azad and Pappu Yadav also met police officials.
