‘Cong Wants Bangladesh-Like Regime Change’: Rajnath Singh SLAMS Rahul Gandhi Over Anti-CEC Stir

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of backing an alleged conspiracy to destabilise the country by supporting the Cockroach Janta Party and participating in protests against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar in Delhi. Addressing a press conference in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, Singh said the demonstrations were not merely about electoral roll revisions under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) or the Chief Election Commissioner. He alleged that the protests were part of an attempt to seize power by creating anarchy. Singh also claimed that some opposition leaders were seeking regime change inspired by recent developments in Bangladesh.
