Delhi Cops Attacked With Chilli Powder & Bricks In Mukundpur; 17-Year-Old Arrested

Three policemen were allegedly attacked by a group with bricks and sticks, while chilli powder was thrown into their eyes during patrolling in northwest Delhi’s Mukundpur area. The incident took place around 3.30 pm in Janta Vihar under Bhalswa Dairy police station after Head Constables Dinesh and Rajesh found a motorcycle without valid documents and took it to the police station. Police said the motorcycle owner and family members later confronted the officers and allegedly turned violent. Head Constable Tinu was also attacked after reaching the spot. All three policemen were injured, with Dinesh suffering a head injury. A 17-year-old juvenile was apprehended, while other accused fled. A case has been registered under multiple BNS sections.
