‘Free Publicity’ Dipke Reacts Cockroach Effigy Row, Kapil Mishra to Be Chief Guest Of Programme

A 30-foot-tall cockroach effigy is set to be burnt alongside the traditional effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarna and Meghnad during Dussehra celebrations in Delhi’s Pitampura on October 20. BJP leader Kapil Mishra will attend the event as the chief guest and burn the effigies.The Shri Keshav Ramlila Committee says the cockroach effigy is intended to spread awareness about cleanliness and unhygienic conditions. Meanwhile, Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke reacted sarcastically to the plan, saying, “Thank you for the free publicity.”
