From Operation Sindoor To Ram Temple: Decorated IAF Veteran Jeetendra Mishra Gets New Mission

Air Marshal (Retired) Jeetendra Mishra has been selected as the first Chief Executive Officer of the Ram Temple Trust from more than 5,000 applicants. A decorated former Indian Air Force commander, Mishra served as Western Command chief during Operation Sindoor and retired in May 2026 after over 38 years of service. He has held several senior operational, command and testing positions and received the Sarvottam Yudh Seva Medal, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal and Vishisht Seva Medal. His key challenge now will be strengthening the temple trust’s management and financial accountability following a donation theft controversy.
