Gurugram Biker ‘Hit-And-Run’: Car Driver Kalyan Bainsla Arrested, Attempt-To-Murder Charge Added

Gurugram Police have arrested Kalyan Bainsla in connection with the Golf Course Road incident involving biker Sia. Police added an attempt-to-murder charge under Section 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita after analysing CCTV footage.Sia had earlier alleged that Bainsla drove away after hitting her and questioned the delay in his arrest. She also said she suffered knee injuries and credited her riding gear with protecting her from more serious injuries.Meanwhile, advocate Naveen Bainsla, representing Kalyan Bainsla, rejected the hit-and-run allegation and called it a case of negligence.
