'I Told Saurav...': Ex-SC Judge SK Kaul On Diwali Photo With CJP Leader, Recalls 'Language' Advice

Former Supreme Court judge Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul has denied mentoring Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leader Saurav Das, clarifying that he met him only a couple of times when Das was working as a journalist. In an interview with ANI, Justice Kaul explained that a photograph of the two together, taken at a Diwali gathering about a year ago, was being used to suggest his ideological association with Das. He said he had advised Das to “taper down a little” in his language, citing generational differences in communication styles. Justice Kaul said aggressive language could sometimes hurt people accustomed to more civil conversations and stressed the need for restraint. However, he declined to offer specific advice to CJP youngsters on their approach to reform.
